copilot works really well and it would be cool if it was integrated with corel programs

That's a great suggestion! A Copilot-style assistant would be a game-changer for automating tasks in Corel.
Since Microsoft's Copilot is locked to their ecosystem, a direct integration is unlikely. However, Corel already has the foundation for its own system. Using the existing AI credit system, they could integrate a lightweight LLM API (like GPT-4o-mini or Claude) to act as a code generator for VBA or C# scripts instead of processing heavy graphics in the cloud. Text APIs are cheap, making this very cost-effective.
However, a major challenge is the risk of hallucinations or broken code. To make this work safely, it would need to rely on a highly reliable, code-optimized AI model.
Also, one catch is that VBA changes can't be easily undone. It would be ideal if the tool could prompt users to save a backup before executing, or allow stopping mid-process. While native shape manipulation with full undo history would be amazing, parsing the core program is likely unrealistic.
