CorelDRAW Sandbox Portal
The Neue Montreal font family is not working properly in CorelDRAW 2026 (it works just fine in older CorelDRAW 2019 on the same PC). The problem is that Neue Montreal Bold and Bold Italic are both dispayed like the same Italic font. If Neue Monreal Bold (not Italic) is selected in the font selector it appears as an Neue Monteal Bold Italic font. That renders the font unusable in the CorelDRAW 2026. The problem is not present in any other program like MS Word, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
Seemed to be the problem with font's metadata, as in the metadata the font Neue Montreal Bolt Italic was named "Neue Montreal Bold" (without "Italic") and the Neue Montreal Bold was named just "Neue Montreal" with "Bold" indicated in the Style box. I believe this caused a conflict in Corel. Changed the font metadata of the Neue Montreal Bolt Italic through https://www.glyphrstudio.com/, reinstalled the fonts from new and the conflict seems to be gone.
