Cartesian coordinates

Please make it easy to set up a cartesian coordinate system where if the user is trying to map an x, y, z diagram they can easily set up the quadrant system in the standard mathematical model. I as a brand new user spent way too much time just understanding where the appropriate views were to look to make sure that my given instructions from an outside source were accurately placed on the canvas.
