Currently, creating a grid array in CorelDRAW is overly complex and restrictive. Users must rely on tedious workarounds—such as using the Blend tool to create rows/columns or using the static "Step and Repeat" docker. Once created, these methods leave static objects that cannot be easily or dynamically adjusted.
I would like to request a dedicated, interactive "Grid Repeat" feature, similar to Adobe Illustrator's Object > Repeat > Grid.
This tool would allow users to instantly convert any selected object into a live grid array. Users should be able to directly control the following on-screen via intuitive handles or the Property Bar:
Row and Column Counts: Dynamically add or remove rows/columns by simply dragging the bounding handles.
Spacing / Gaps: Smoothly widen or narrow horizontal and vertical spacing in real time.
Introducing a non-destructive, live Grid Repeat tool would dramatically streamline repetitive formatting, pattern creation, and UI/layout design in CorelDRAW.
